Generous servings of hospitality and service are two key ingredients of the Ariel House recipe. From the welcome at check in, through to the goodbyes when leaving, we strive to make our guests feel comfortable and well looked after throughout their stay at our Dublin 4 guesthouse.

And as the saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. In 2022, McKenna’s Guides recommended our guesthouse in Dublin as one of the top 100 places to stay in Ireland and in 2021, Ariel House was awarded Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award.

Jennie is the proud owner of Ariel House. After graduating with a Degree in Hospitality Management, she went on to train with Four Seasons before moving to London to work in the iconic Claridge’s.

Keila and her dedicated reception team, Emerson, Serdar and Florin are always there to provide assistance if you need anything throughout your stay.

CHEFS

Rose our very talented head chef with her team provides delicious award winning breakfasts to all of our guests. Rose has been with Ariel House since the early days.

HOUSEKEEPING

Ascencao, Mercia and the team do an amazing job making sure each of our 37 rooms are cleaned to the highest standard. They are extremely hard working and are an integral part of Ariel House.

THE HOUSE

Built back in 1850, during the reign of Queen Victoria, the house was originally owned by a wealthy shipping merchant and his family.

THE HISTORY OF ARIEL HOUSE

If you look closely, you’ll realise that Ariel House is not in fact just one building, but is made up of three splendid Victorian townhouses, seamlessly joined and charmingly laid out. Our role is to keep them alive, vibrant, cared for and open for all to enjoy.

The main house was built back in 1850, during the reign of Queen Victoria, and was originally owned by a wealthy shipping merchant and his family. To this day, you can still see many Victorian features on display throughout our Dublin guesthouse, such as the beautiful bay windows, Flemish brick work, ornate stained glass and sash windows.

Nowadays Ariel House has been sympathetically restored, offering modern amenities, but keeping the style and elegance of a time gone by.
